After Care Instruction

We do ask that you refrain from any dark staining foods or liquids for the first 48 hours after your treatment with us. If it is needed, please drink through a straw and immediately rinse your mouth with warm water. Results are permanent with little to no sensitivity.  If sensitivity does occur it will subside within 24-48 hours. We recommend using a mouthwash for sensitive teeth during this time.  Or  Sensodyne  toothpaste.   Please use white tooth paste and refrain from using any charcoal whitening powders. (It could cause a gray effect on your newly whitened smile) please do not use any harsh abrasives on your teeth after your treatment. 

Please note that every person’s results are different. While you will see a significant change in 1 hour, some may need an additional treatment depending on the shade you started off with. It all depends on your lifestyle, habits, and your desired results you want to achieve.  Smoking stains, dark liquid, and food stains are easiest to lift.  If you are on prescription medications, results will vary. If you have any internal issues your results will vary as well.  We strive to get everyone to their desired result.  Your tech will discuss this with you at the time of your appointment. Together you will come up with a plan of treatment that will best suit the results you desire. Once your level of whiteness is achieved you can plan to enjoy your results for many months to come with the proper care.
